The New York That Might Have Been
I've always been fascinated with lost things. The library at Alexandria, Edison's missing I-talk-to-dead-people device, those stolen Hemingway stories...There's just something about hidden knowledge and irretrievable things, a document turning to dust in a shuttered attic, the great lost work the Western world destroyed in a fire centuries past, that intrigues me to no end. That predilection revealed, the above post snagged my attention....
