Many Students Willing to Give Government Control of Press
Half the students in a national survey think news stories need government approval before being published. Next headline: Congress paves way for 'memory hole' funds, Department of Truth.

I love you.

Likewise. :)

That is hopelessly sad. Accepting the press control is the begining of a totalitarian regime. I wonder how the situation is in Europe?

You're absolutely right. A totalitarian regime cannot function efectively without centralizing the press in some way. Europe, for the most part, seems to be in much better shape. Here's a link (it's a bit old, but still accurate enough I imagine) ranking the relative freedom of speech by country.

LOL. Likewise?? ;) It's sad that our youth are so willing to simply accept authority. What every happened to bucking authority?
